Hello, my name is Alex Salontai, and I’m based in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

I am passionate about front-end development, machine learning, and large language models. I thrive under pressure and am dedicated to continuous learning and creative problem-solving. I participated in the Honors Program at Georgia State through the Undergraduate Assistantship Program, working under Dr. Esra Akbas. My role involved conducting research on machine learning algorithms for detecting malware in Android applications. I developed algorithms using popular models such as SVM and Random Forest. The research was published in a paper authored by Dr. Akbas and a few others.

Collaborated with Dr. Akbas to develop four distinct machine learning algorithms using data from Android apps, including content, descriptions, permissions, and keywords. Employed various vector representations such as keyword arrays, Doc2Vec text embeddings, Node2Vec graph embeddings, and app permissions keywords. The results were featured in a Georgia State research paper.
